A low-budget violin suggestion ($500-800)

Hello people,

I know everyone is tired of similar questions, but that never stopped me =)

Anyways, I'm a student on a (very) limited budget, and I'm looking to make myself a New Year's present - an eViolin ^__^ I've been playing accoustic over 10 years, but I've been getting into metal music lately as well. You can check out my youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/Ausdoerrt

Well, it would be really helpful if someone suggested me a decent eviolin that's not too pricey, since I'll be only using it for fun. Main objective is good and strong sound. And mind you, I'd never go for Fengling or other ebay crao like that, a waste of money.

I've been considering 3 choices:

- A Stingray SV4 kit
- An Alpha 5-string http://www.electricviolinshop.com/cw_details.cfm?ProdID=385&category=6
- A New York Pro violin

Any comments/suggestions welcome. Suggestions for good amps/effects are welcome as well.

I've read that NS Designs is

I've read that NS Designs is making a new lower end electric called a WAV.
People that have played it have been very impressed. It should be just starting to reach stores.

Thanks for the tip, man! Now
